We are a community movement that supported the recruitment and campaign of Dr Monique Ryan, a community Independent who contested and won the 2022 federal election. 

In 2022, climate change, environmental protection, integrity and respect for women mattered to our community.  But the previous member for Kooyong, the Liberal Josh Frydenberg, consistently voted the same way as the National Party on these issues. These were the views of Barnaby Joyce, not the Kooyong community.  

These issues still matter, along with cost of living and housing pressures. Dr Monique Ryan MP has proven to be a responsive and effective representative who is helping to ensure that the Government remains focussed on these issues.

Kooyong is a federal electorate that includes the suburbs of Kew, Kew East, Hawthorn, Balwyn, Balwyn North, Deepdene, Canterbury, Camberwell, Surrey Hills, Toorak, Armadale, Malvern and Prahran.
